Sammy the blog slacker

Hello everyone,

I decided to make a quick post while I had some time today. Things are going well as usual here in Elim. The snow has stuck around and that can only mean one thing... THERE IS MORE TO COME! I actually really love it when it snows here. It feels warmer, like the snow insulates us here or something. The weather has been very pleasant. I really can't complain about sunshine ! Soon there will be very little light. As of right now the sun does not rise until 10 or 10:30 in the morning and my walks to work are very dark and sometimes a little scary. I get rides sometimes which is nice. The sun goes down at around 8 right now, but I can tell that each day we are losing a little more sun and that kind of makes me sad!

Last night we had a dinner over at John's house for Rachelle's birthday. She has the same birthday as Nick so I thought that was interesting! It's a small world! We had a good time and relaxed and had some funny conversations as usual. I was suppose to have my battle of the books kids over for a meeting yesterday, made cookies and all, but AGAIN no one showed up. Not sure what more I can do for that situation. I'll have to plan meetings during the week around their wrestling and cheer practices. hmmmm

It's Sunday, so I think for the day I will just relax. Maybe go for a walk or something later on. The days are just flying by here. I can't believe that on Wednesday it will be 7 weeks until I am home. Just yesterday I felt like it was 12 weeks but the time is going by so fast! It must mean that I am busy busy busy! (which I am lol )
