Ready for school tomorrow!

Hey everyone,

Today I worked extremely hard on my classroom to get things ready in time for tomorrow. With the help of my co-teacher Grace we accomplished a lot and our classroom really looks like a classroom now.  Here are some pictures. I wish I had some before and after pictures to post up but if you can imagine a pile of things in the middle of the room and blank walls this is what it started out as.

 Story Board

These pictures were taken from my phone so I don't know how well you can see them. Most of the things on the wall were handmade by me using a cricut machine and cutting and gluing paper together. For my room I'm suppose to have a story tree to put leaves on for every book we read. Instead I made a story board which looks like the sand, ocean and water. Each time  I read a book a new part will be added to either the ocean, the sand or the sky. I'm pretty excited to see what it looks like at the end of the year!

I'm ready to start the  year off tomorrow and looking forward to meeting all of my students and their parents! Sending all my love from Alaska
