A lot to be thankful for

Hello, good day... how are you?

Been thinking a lot lately about how thankful I should be to be here. I think a lot of people take for granted  what they have in their lives. There are so many things to be thankful for and so many people who make your life worth living. I have a lot of those people in my life and they are 4,000 miles away. BUT still I think of them each and every day. I'm feeling a bit sentimental  today.. (as you can see) but thats good! (right?)

As I look out the window tonight I think I am pretty blessed to have all of the things I have. Not possessions .. but real things like a family, a JOB, great friends and the most beautiful scenery in the whole world. It's easy to get your spirits down when you're away from home, and a heck of a lot easier to let them take control of you. This girl however... is happy as a clam. The thing I love most about being away is missing all of those wonderful things I have at home. I know I'll always have them when I return. So, to all you readers .. my thought of the day is don't let the little things bring you down! Be happy with what you have. MAKE YOUR OWN SUNSHINE!

Things are coming together for me here in Elim. I am blessed to be here and have the most amazing people supporting my every move. Moving here may have been the best decision I have ever made for myself. Space to breath, to see things clearly and to do what I love.... TEACH. I hope you are all having a wonderful day.
